Learn Some Tagalog Phrases

The most important thing that women want to see is effort. Filipinas are no different. They want to see that you are genuinely interested in them and willing to make an effort to win them over. One of the best ways to do that is to learn some Tagalog phrases. Some key phrases would be ‘ hi, kamusta ka’ (hi, how are you?), ano ang iyong pangalan (what’s your name), and Mahal kita (I love you). Taking the time to learn some key phrases will go along way to making a good impression. Even if you accidentally say something silly you’ll at least make her laugh which goes into my next point. Make Her Laugh

There is nothing a woman loves more than a man who can make her laugh. Seriously, who doesn’t want to laugh their butts off 7 days a week? The Philippines is a country known for its smiles, crappy slow and expensive internet, and humor. Our humor is so incredibly crude it’s downright hilarious. Filipino women love to laugh! Give her a few awesome lines and you’re guaranteed a spot in her contacts list.

Be a Gentleman

“Oh wow! Sir you’re so rich!”. Okay, honestly, how would you feel after you heard that from a Filipina? A lot of guys will try to open up a conversation by telling a woman how pretty she is. LAME! In our minds, we think we’re giving them a compliment but in her mind, she’s thinking you want to get in her pants.

Filipinas are used to creeps and dirty old men trying to take advantage of their poverty. You want to impress a Filipina, show her that you’re not that guy. You do that by keeping the conversation away from her physical appearance and attributes. Try complimenting her on something other than her appearance. You Have Dollars, So What?

Trying to impress a girl you just met by buying her expensive gifts or sending her a load is probably the worst way to go. I can’t believe guys try to impress a girl with his money and then complain that they keep getting gold diggers. Yes, women want to see that you have the resources to take care of them but that doesn’t mean you can buy a person.  Also, most women know that guys who flash their cash are not serious or abusive. Listen to Her

Women want to know a guy is actually listening to them. Remember a relationship is about meeting each other’s needs. How will you know what her needs are if you’re not listening to her? For example, say she says she loves koalas. So instead of sending her a Teddy bear how about you send her a stuffed koala instead? That will show her that you’re actually listening to her and you care about her!

Make sure you find out who her interests are instead of telling her yours. Reason being if you just tell her your interests she can parrot them. By having her tell her interests first you can see if you guys are truly compatible.

Be The Person You Want to Date

One of the things I talked about is you may be closer to getting a good relationship when you are becoming the person you wish to date. People see more of ourselves than we think they do. If you want a good woman who can be your lovely wife then you should strive to be a good man who can be a good husband.

The Most Important Thing

This is going to sound so cliché because it’s so true, be yourself. I’ve seen guys do all sorts of dumb things to try to impress a Filipino girl from trying to act more holy and religious than they are, to picking a fight with another guy in front of her on purpose (and losing), to even buying her a house and a car (that was the dumbest). No matter how pretty she is you want a girl that likes you for you. Trying to pretend to be something you’re not is not a recipe for a great relationship and the only girls that will be attracted to that will be the girls that just want something from you.
